Alex Heckaman is the creator of Grain Waves Woodworks. With over 8 years experience, as a specialized carpenter, he is excited to be serving the community surrounding his hometown. His work is inspired by the natural beauty he has witnessed both in nature and architecture. Custom Built-in Furniture and Cabinetry is his forte. Alex has become highly sought after for his ability to put the craft in to his Craftsmanship.

Grain Waves Woodworks is the dream child of Alex's laid back "Pura Vida" view of life and his passionate pursuit, and attention to the finer details. The result of these two perspectives merged into what has become a unique take on wood working, which provides effortlessly beautiful products. Alex holds great value for providing top notch customer service without sacrificing sustainability or quality of work.

been his faithful shop dog since the very beginning!
